Long Beach Zine Fest

We all created Micro-zines for the LBC zinefest.

We each created our own mini zines to contribute and share with the LCB.

Menu: We enjoyed Seared Scallops fresh from the LCB fish markets.

1. ~1/2 lb (6-8 pieces) West Coast Scallops (recommend central coast of CA)
2. 4 tsp Fancy Butter
3. 1 lemon
4. 1 sprig of rosemary

Place 2 tsp of butter in a cast iron skillet (high heat > low during cooking). Add rosemary sprig. Sear 1 side of scallops until golden brown (~2-3 min). Add more butter and flip scallops. Sear other side (~1 min) don’t overcook or burn the scallops. Squeeze lemon and let rest (~5 mins) enjoy on rice, salad, french bread as desired.
